C o l o u r s

As most of you know, singing is my first love and it is what I know most about having been classically trained since I was 11.

I have a huge interest in crossover music, which is why I was keen to collaborate with a Bristol crew called 'Central Spillz' early last year.
We went to the studio and got recording straight away. I honestly had no idea what to expect
but this is what I got sent a couple of weeks ago- it is out end of October.

Enjoy

Exhibition

The Skeleton Exhibition was very exciting, it was strange to go into three rooms filled with pictures of me, but I was blown away by the evening in general. The turn out was impressive and it was lovely to celebrate with my close friends and family.  I haven't yet received a copy of all the pictures but here is one I do have:

Photographer: Katy- Jane Riches
Make up: Sophie Cox.

Keep an eye out for the rest, I will uploading my faves.

I am going to be doing a new shoot with another incredibly talented photographer, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I adore her previous work so am looking forward to that!

Lastly, I will be doing a post on my music, and whats to come in the next couple of days.

Enjoy

Wellies in August

Here are some pictures from my latest shoot.
We had anticipated horrific weather, but despite the heavy rain warnings, the sun decided to come out and play. Perfect timing!

Exhibition

I am in an exhibition called 'Skeleton Frame.' It's a photographic exploration into the skeleton frame of life and how we build upon it!
I am looking forward to seeing the final finished shots.
The exhibition itself will be at the Arts West Side, Old Market, Bristol early September.
Everyone is invited to join and I will give dates nearer the time!
Here is a preview shot!

Holiday!

Hello,

I have been out of action for the past week or so as I am currently away on holiday to sunny (yet slightly cloudy at times) Portugal!

Apart from lazing by the pool I have been putting together a CV that is relevant to the media. This is harder than it sounds seeing as I don't have a huge amount of experience.

This holiday is an 8 day break away from work, rainy England and all the other stresses and distractions that go with it...its gorgeous and is not only allowing me to feel fresh, but to get exciting new thoughts and ideas.

Life is great.

Fruit Pastel!

Hello,

Again, haven't been on here in a while... I really need to keep this blog updated.

I am pleased to share a new bunch of photos with everyone.
This shoot was done with Sophie Cox doing Make Up and Nick Robinson Photographing.

I had no idea what to expect when Sophie asked me to 'paint my face', but was excited none the less.

The shoot was done after a long day at work on a rainy Monday evening, and the make up alone took around 2 hours. Sophie had a massive suitcase jam packed with hundreds of make up brushes and every shade of eyeshadow you can imagine.
This is a more daring shoot colour wise, and after seeing the picture of what she wanted the make up to look like, I wasn't too sure if I'd be able to pull it off!

Overall I am very very pleased with the shoot. Nick and Sophie are fantastic at what they do and really compliment each other, knowing what one another like and dislike. Here are a few of the shots from the 100+ taken:

This one was taken on an iphone-the colours look amazing.

Here are the professional shots!

I would love to know what you think so please feel free to comment!

I have another shoot lined up which I am excited about doing and if all goes to plan should be within the next 2 weeks or so and is something a little different!
